National Junior Honor Society

National Junior Honor Society Information

The National Junior Honor Society is the most esteemed honor a middle school student can be recognized for. Founded on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Citizenship and Character, the National Junior Honor Society chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.

The Eaton NJHS Chapter Requirements:

1. Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders will receive invitations if students meet the Scholarship, Citizenship and Character requirements:

2. Must write an essay on how you would display the characteristics of Service and Leadership.

3. The faculty council will review all completed packets with fair consideration of student’s candidacy during the selection process.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact Ms. Cobb through email or 757-825-4552.
