Candidate Must Meet These Requirements
The candidate must be a member of the rising 7th grade, rising 8th grade, or current 8th grade at Eaton Middle School.
The candidate must have either an A or an AB Honor Roll on their report card (not a progress report) for 3 quarters of the current school year.
The candidate must have no disciplinary issues (Restorative Counseling or Out-of-School- Suspension) during the current school year.
Eligible students will receive an invitation to join. The invitation will disclose the essay that will need to be written.
Once all necessary items are submitted, the faculty council will determine if the student will be offered membership based on the NJHS characteristics of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.
All students will be notified of the membership decision.
To Maintain NJHS Membership
Students must maintain the A or AB honor roll
Uphold the qualities of scholarship, leadership, character, citizenship, and service.
Students will receive their certificate of membership and membership pin during the ceremony and be inducted into the Eaton Middle School Chapter of The National Junior Honor Society.
